You can use this utility to check if your Internet Service Provider has recently changed
your IP address, or to learn your public Internet IP address for the first time. Knowing your
public Internet IP address is important if you would like to connect to your computer remotely
or host an online game server.
This utility will check to see if a port is open on a particular host. This can be useful to determine if a firewall is working properly or if a port is open that should not be opened.
